This will likely come as a surprise to nobody....but Helsinki was COLD! The Helsinki Cathedral is one of my favorites so far because the inside is packed full of pews which, in my opinion, is the whole idea behind building a church! We both loved the architecture throughout the city.

We went to a KHL game where Helsinki played a team from Minsk, Belarus and beat them in overtime. The hockey was really good but the atmosphere was similar to NHL games but just "less." We also did not see a single person drinking alcohol outside of the concourse area which was peculiar. Maybe a COVID thing?

Not my favorite food but meals were inexpensive and usually included unlimited free coffee & tea.
