Bruges was definitely nice but, in my opinion, Ghent was the real gem. The medieval architecture was incredible!

At the church in Bruges that looks like the inside of a pirate ship we were able to see actual blood from Jesus, allegedly. The blood was soaked into a cloth, inside a capsule.

Belgian beer is very high in alcohol content! I would estimate 8% to be the average. It was good for the high percentage but I think Joel Hoy would struggle to find an equivalent to Busch Light.

Only regret from this part of the trip: Not eating more waffles!
